It is an original work. I painted the silk using silk paints and colored inks from a compilation of drawings from my garden photos After hand painting the silk background, I separately painted the numerous cottage flowers. There's lots of typical english flowers from foxgloves to Iceburg roses. Then the flowers were all appliqued on and thread painted. But I think that the real star is the quilting, all done without any marking, on my domestic machine. The size is 35 X 19". The cost- $370.00
Hyde or is that Jekyll? I always mix them up. But flowers, flowers, flowers, then crows. Go figure. This is a Truly Original and Unique, Contemporary art quilt in earthy colors. The subject matter; an old knurled tree with crows or ravens [if you prefer] landing on it, is unique, to say the least. As different as that sounds, it works extremely well. It may not your typical theme of flowers and bees, but it is an outstanding piece of fiber art. Hand painted silk with applique & thread painted. The size is 37 X 19". $350.00For more details & more photos or purchase information visit .

These look like paintings! Great work.
Well Lynn in a way you're right, many of them are silk painted, then they have been appliqued and thread painted. Then quilted.I use silk paints and acrylic colored inks instead of dye. They are colorfast.Yet it allows you to have more control.
Barb
