It Started with a Blob

Quilter's Tile - "Did You Hear....."

Do you find yourself stuck?  Are you looking at a blank piece of fabric wondering what you could do? Some days I find myself lacking inspiration.

One way to start is with a blob.

Yes, a blob of color on the surface and then letting your imagination go wild.

For this piece, I blobbed on a bit of red textile paint, folded my fabric, opened it and let it dry. No longer faced with a blank sheet, I started to play with fabric markers and finished up with machine quilting.

You are invited to find out more details on my blog.

What will you create with your next blob...........?

Hello, I tried this yesterday as part of my daily creative journal page challenge and it was really interesting. I tried it on paper but fabric is the next step.

Shauna, Glad to hear you are reaching out and trying something new. We have some many ways to explore new ideas for our art. Did anyone else give it a try?
